Abstract
A composition of matter comprising zeolite Beta and a layered magnesium silicate such as sepiolite is especially suited for use in combination with one or more hydrogenation components as a catalyst for hydrocracking various types of feedstocks.
Claims36
A hydrocracking process which comprises contacting a hydrocarbon feedstock with a catalyst devoid of an intercalated clay under hydrocracking conditions in the presence of hydrogen so as to produce a product of lower average boiling point, said catalyst comprising one or more hydrogenation components in combination with a support comprising zeolite Beta in a form catalytically active for cracking hydrocarbons, and a layered magnesium silicate.
A process for hydrocracking a hydrocarbon feedstock which comprises contacting said feedstock under hydrocracking conditions in the presence of hydrogen with a catalyst devoid of an intercalated clay, said catalyst comprising a hydrogenation component, zeolite Beta, and a layered magnesium silicate.
A process for hydrocracking a hydrocarbon feedstock which comprises contacting said feedstock under hydrocracking conditions in the presence of hydrogen with a catalyst consisting essentially of one or more hydrogenation components, zeolite Beta, and a layered magnesium silicate.
