A resin laminate for coating of glass comprises (A) an inner coating layer formed with a resin composition comprising a styrene-butadiene copolymer latex and polyvinylpyrrolidone and (B) an outer coating layer formed with a resin composition comprising an aqueous polyurethane, an aqueous epoxy resin, an aqueous amino resin and a surface active agent containing halogen. By forming two coating layers of the resin laminate on the surface of a glass container such as a glass bottle and a window pane, the scattering of the broken pieces of glass can be prevented when the glass container or the glass pane is broken. The coating layers are not separated from the surface of the glass or swollen during the alkaline washing of the glass bottle and the like and thus are very useful for practical application.
