Systems and processes for providing multiple interfaces for telephone services

A method of storing and displaying in a data processing system a procedure to direct a telephone network to provide requested services to a customer of the network, the method comprising the steps, executed by a data processing system, of:

• storing, in a graphical representation level, display information for the visual representation of the procedure;
• storing, in a data structure level, data organized in data structures, which correspond to the display information;
• storing, in a code level, machine independent binary code executable in real time by a customized call processor within the telephone network for implementing the requested services, the binary code corresponding to the data in the data structures;
• and
• executing software modules associated with the graphical representation level display information stored in said data processing system for generating a presentation of said procedure on a display device.

In a data processing system containing a procedure to direct a telephone network to provide requested services to a customer of the network, the data processing system including a display terminal for displaying a visual representation of the procedure and multilevel data organized into

• a graphical representation level containing display information for the visual representation,
• a data structure level containing data, organized in data structures, which correspond to the display information;
• and
• a code level containing machine independent binary code executable in real time by a customized call processor within the telephone network for implementing the requested services, the binary code corresponding to the data in the data structures, a method of manipulating the data comprising the steps, executed by a data processor, of:
• executing a graphical representation level module to manipulate the display information;
• executing a data structure level module to manipulate the data organized in the data structures;
• and
• executing a code level module to manipulate the binary code.
