Abstract
This invention relates to derivatives of acrylic acid useful as fungicides, to processes for preparing them, to fungicidal compositions containing them, and to methods of combating fungi, especially fungal infections in plants, using them.
Claims5
An acrylate of the formula ##STR38## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 independently of one another are each C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl,
- X is hydrogen, halogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy, haloalkyl, cyano or nitro,
- Y is hydrogen, alkyl, phenyl, halogen alkoxy, cyano, NO.sub.2, amino or carboxyl,
- n is from 1 to 3 and Z is oxygen.
Methyl alpha-(2-phenoxymethylphenyl)-beta-methoxyacrylate.
