Abstract
A vulcanizable rubber composition containing (i) (A) a chlorine-containing rubber and (B) a triazinethiol.amine salt or (ii) (a) a chlorine-containing rubber, (b) a triazinethiol as a vulcanization agent, and (c), as a vulcanization agent, (c-1) an aromatic carboxylic acid amine salt, (c-2) an aliphatic carboxylic acid amine salt, and (c-3) a phenolamine salt.
Claims5
A vulcanizable rubber composition comprising:
- (a) a chlorine-containing rubber selected from the group consisting of chlorinated ethylene-.alpha.-olefin copolymer rubber, epichlorhydrin rubber and chlorinated polyethylene;
- and
- (b) as a vulcanization agent, a triazinethiol amine salt having the formula:
- ##STR15## wherein n is a number of 1 to 3;
- R.sub.1 represents --NR.sub.4 R.sub.5, --OR.sub.4, or --SR.sub.4, where R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 independently represent a hydrogen atom, an unsubstituted or substituted alkyl group or an unsubstituted or substituted aryl group;
- R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 independently represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms or an aryl group having 6 to 20 carbon atoms or R.sub.2 and R.sub.3, together with --NH.dbd. to which they are attached, form a ring which is not a polyamide.
