Abstract
An automobile door comprises a cavity-defining door body, and shock absorber consisting of a plurality of foamed-resin tubes disposed in the cavity such that the tubes are axially in parallel and are aligned in the thickness direction of the door body.

An automobile door comprising:
- a door body defining a cavity;
- and
- a shock absorber installed in said cavity, said shock absorber being composed of a plurality of foamed-resin tubes arranged such that longitudinal axes of said tubes lie in parallel, said tubes being bonded to one another wherein said shock absorber is disposed in said cavity such that said foamed-resin tubes are axially aligned in a thickness direction of said door body,
- wherein said foamed-resin tubes are composed of an inner part and an outer part, said inner part and outer part consisting of different resin foams.
