Abstract
The disclosure concerns pyrazolopyridine compounds of the formula wherein the variables are defined in the specification. The compounds are useful as a diuretic, anti-hypertensive agent, etc.
Claims6
A pyrazolopyridine compound of the formula:
- ##STR115## wherein R.sup.1 is lower alkyl, aryl which may have one or more suitable substituents(s) or a heterocyclic group,
- R.sup.2 is a group of the formula:
- wherein R.sup.6 is N-(lower)alkylcarbamoyl;
- N-(higher)alkylcarbamoyl;
- N,N-di(lower)alkylcarbamoyl or N-lower alkyl-N-ar(lower)alkylcarbamoyl, and A is lower aliphatic hydrocarbon group which may have one or more suitable substituent(s);
- and
- R.sup.3 is hydrogen, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy or halogen, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
