Abstract
This invention relates to cysteine derivatives of the formula[I] and salts thereof. ##STR1## The compounds of this invention are useful for immunomodulator and treatment of liver disorder.

A compound of the formula (I), ##STR7## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are methyl;
- R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 are hydrogen;
- and
- R.sup.5 is hydroxy, lower alkoxy, amino or lower alkylamino;
- or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
