Abstract
This invention is related to a cyclic hydroxamic acid of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is C.sub.1-24 alkyl and R.sup.2 is benzyl.

A cyclic hydroxamic acid of the formula:
- ##STR73## wherein R.sup.1 is C.sub.1 to C.sub.24 alkyl and wherein R.sup.2 is benzyl.
Cis-4-benzyl-6-dodecyl-1-hydroxypiperidin-2-one.
Trans-4-benzyl-6-dodecyl-1-hydroxypiperidin-2-one.
Trans-4-benzyl-1-hydroxy-6-tetradecylpiperidine-2-one.
