Abstract
A novel method for the prevention and control of epileptic seizures, particularly intractable seizures associated with the Lennox-Gastaut syndrome, employing pharmaceutical compositions containing 2-phenyl-1,3-propanediol dicarbamate.
Claims1
A method for the prevention and control of seizures associated with Lennox-Gastaut syndrome which comprises administering to a warm-blooded animal in need of such treatment 2-phenyl-1,3-propanediol dicarbamate in a daily dosage of from about 100 milligrams to about 5 grams.
