Abstract
A thermal transfer recording sheet comprising a base film, a heat transferable ink layer formed on one side of the base film and a heat resistant lubricating layer formed on the other side of the base film, wherein the heat resistant lubricating layer contains fine elastomer particles.

A thermal transfer recording sheet comprising a base film, a heat transferable ink layer formed on one side of the base film and a heat resistant lubricating layer formed on the other side of the base film, wherein elastomer particles having an average particle size of from 0.1 to 10 .mu.m are dispersed in the heat resistant lubricating layer.
