Abstract
This invention relates to phenylpyrimidone derivatives which have bronchodilator activity. A compound of the invention is N-methyl 1,6-dihydro-6-oxo-2-(2-propoxyphenyl)pyrimidine-5-carboxamide.
Claims6
A compound of the formula (1):
- ##STR10## or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein R.sup.1 is C.sub.1-6 alkyl, C.sub.2-6 alkenyl, C.sub.3-5 cycloalkylC.sub.1-6 alkyl, phenylC.sub.1-6 alkyl or C.sub.1-6 alkyl substituted by 1 to 6 fluoro groups;
- and
- R.sup.2 is hydrogen, --NHCOR.sup.3, or --CONR.sup.4 R.sup.5, wherein R.sup.3 is C.sub.1-6 alkyl, R.sup.4 is
- C.sub.1-6 alkyl and R.sup.5 is hydrogen or C.sub.1-6 alkyl.
