Abstract
An improved foundation composition for application to the skin is disclosed. The composition is characterized by the inclusion of a light scattering agent having a spherical shape and a diameter of up to 30 microns. This component permits the non-inclusion of a colorant. The absence of a colorant allows the foundation composition to be invisible on the skin.
Claims5
A foundation composition comprising from about 1.5% to about 30% of a spherical inorganic material having a diameter of up to about 30 microns;
- from about 5% to about 35% of a matte finishing agent, from about 5% to about 35% of a moisturizing agent;
- and up to about 68% water, all said percentages being by weight based on the total weight of the compositions.
