Pyrazole carboxanilide fungicides and use

A compound of the formula:

• ##STR2## wherein:
• Q is C1-C3 alkyl, C2-C3 alkenyl, C2-C3 alkynyl, --(CH.sub.2).sub.m CH.dbd., or --(CH.sub.2).sub.m --X--(CH.sub.2).sub.m --;
• n is 0 or 1;
• each m is independently 0, 1, 2, or 3;
• each X is independently O or S;
• R.sub.1 is C3-C12 cycloalkyl, C3-C12 cycloalkenyl, C6-C12 bicycloalkyl, C3-C12 oxacycloalkyl, C3-C12 oxacycloalkenyl, C3-C12 thiacycloalkyl, C3-C12 thiacycloalkenyl, or C3-C12 cycloalkylamine, each of which may be optionally substituted with one or more C1-8 alkyl, C1-8 alkoxy, halo, or cyano groups, provided that when --Q--R.sub.1 is --(CH.sub.2).sub.m CH.dbd.R.sub.1, the cycloalkyl of R.sub.1 is a cycloalkylidene;
• R.sub.2 is hydrogen, fluorinated methyl, methyl, ethyl, C2-C6 alkenyl, C3-C6 cycloalkyl, phenyl, alkylthioalkyl, alkoxyalkyl, haloalkylthioalkyl, haloalkoxyalkyl, or hydroxyalkyl;
• R.sub.3 is halomethyl, halomethoxy, methyl, ethyl, halo, cyano, methylthio, nitro, aminocarbonyl, or aminocarbonylmethyl;
• R.sub.4 is hydrogen, halo, or methyl;
• R.sub.5, R.sub.6, and R.sub.7 are each independently selected from hydrogen, halo, cyano, C1-6 alkyl, C2-C6 alkenyl, C2-C6 alkynyl, C1-C4 alkoxy, C1-C4 alkylthio, C3-C4 cycloalkyl, and halomethoxy.
