Apparatus for mixing and dispensing a plurality of components with injected low pressure gas

A foam dispensing apparatus for mixing a plurality of foam components into an expanded foam and dispensing the mixed foam components, comprising:

• a body portion;
• a cartridge assembly mounted on said body portion, said cartridge assembly including a chamber said chamber having an exit portion where the mixed foam components exit said chamber and an entrance portion where the plurality of foam components enter said chamber;
• means for supplying the plurality of foam components to said entrance portion of said chamber for initial mixing of the plurality of foam components;
• means for controlling the flow of the plurality of foam components into said chamber;
• and
• means for injecting a pressurized gas into said exit portion of said chamber during the flow of the plurality of foam components into said chamber to further aid in the mixing of the plurality of foam components.
