Chiral sultams

Substituted Chiral sultam having the general formula:

• ##STR19## where the R groups are independently hydrogen or C.sub.1 to C.sub.6 alkyl, R.sup.1 is C.sub.1 to C.sub.20 alkyl or aryl substituted alkyl and Q is selected from --OCCH(Z)R.sup.4 and --OCC(Z).dbd.CHR.sup.7 wherein Z is hydrogen or C.sub.1 to C.sub.10 alkyl, R.sup.4 is C.sub.1 to C.sub.10 alkyl and R.sup.7 is hydrogen or C.sub.1 to C.sub.6 alkyl.
