Abstract
This invention relates to a new prote in subfragments thereof with affinity for immunoglobulin A, a process for cloning and expression of the protein, the corresponding vectors and hosts, a process for preparing the organism, a method for preparing the protein, a reagent kit and a pharmaceutical composition comprising the protein or fragments thereof.
Claims6
An Arp4 protein which specifically binds immunoglobulin A and which has the following amino acid sequence beginning with the N-terminus:
- ##STR1## and variants, subfragments or allelic derivates thereof which specifically bind Immunoglobulin A, substantially free of non-immunoglobulin A proteins with which it is naturally associated.
A protein (called Arp) with apparent molecular weight of about 42 kDa (on sodium dodecylsulpate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis) which specifically binds immunoglobulin A, and subfragments thereof which specifically bind immunoglobulin A, substantially free of non-immunoglobulin A proteins with which it is naturally associated.
