Abstract
The invention relates to novel DNA and amino sequences for a human MK protein. Also described are expression vectors and host cells useful in a method for production of the MK protein.

A purified and isolated nucleic acid sequence encoding a human MK protein, wherein the sequence is hybridizable under standard high stringency conditions with a nucleic acid sequence encoding the amino acid sequence depicted in FIG. 1.
The method of claim 5 in which the vector is pETMH2.
