Abstract
Acylmethoxycarbonylbenzotrizoles with an ester substituent are disclosed which are represented by formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is an aliphatic oxy group having 1-10 carbons or an aliphatic amino group having 2-10 carbons; R.sub.2 is hydrogen or an aliphatic group having 1-5 carbons; and the group ##STR2## is bonded to a 5- or 6-position of the benzotriazole and which are useful in silver halide photographic sensitive materials, synthesis intermediates therefor, synthesis intermediates for medicines, rust inhibitors for metals and the like.
Claims6
An .alpha.-acylmethoxycarbonylbenzotriazole represented by formula (I):
- ##STR26## wherein R.sub.1 is an aliphatic oxy group having 1-10 carbons or an aliphatic amino group having 2-10 carbons;
- R.sub.2 is hydrogen or an aliphatic group having 1-5 carbons;
- and the group ##STR27## is bonded to a 5- or 6-position of the benzotriazole.
