Abstract
A weighing-packaging-pricing apparatus has a roll supporting device to rotatably support a film roll, a film transporting device to pull a stretch film from this film roll and to transport a stretched film sheet to a packaging station, a weighting device for weighing and measuring the dimensions of an object on a tray to be packed while it travels to a lifter which lifts the object to the packaging station and pushes it against the stretched film sheet, and a folding device for folding edge sections of the film sheet to form a package. The film transporting device clamps side edge sections of the film pulled out of the film roll and adjusts the clamping positions automatically according to the position of the film roll.

In a packaging apparatus which supports a stretched film sheet at a packaging station, lifts an object from below said stretched film sheet and packages said object by folding edge sections of said film sheet towards the bottom surface of said object, the improvement wherein said packaging apparatus includes a film supplying device which comprises
- roll supporting means for rotatably supporting a film roll,
- film transporting means for clamping side edge sections of a film pulled out of said roll supporting means and transporting said film to said packaging station, and
- adjusting means for automatically adjusting clamping positions where said film transporting means clamps said film according to film roll position where said film roll is set in said roll supporting means.
In a packaging apparatus which supports a stretched film sheet at a packaging station, lifts an object from below said stretched film sheet and packages said object by folding edge sections of said film sheet towards the bottom surface of said object, the improvement wherein said packaging apparatus includes a film supplying device which comprises
- roll supporting means for rotatably supporting a film roll,
- film transporting means for clamping side edge sections of a film pulled out of said roll supporting means and transporting said film to said packaging station, and
- adjusting means for automatically adjusting clamping positions where said film transporting means clamps said film according to the length of said film roll.
In a packaging apparatus which supports a stretched film sheet at a packaging station, lifts an object from below said stretched film sheet and packages said object by folding edge sections of said film sheet towards the bottom surface of said object, the improvement wherein said packaging apparatus includes a film supplying device which comprises
- roll supporting means for rotatably supporting a film roll, and
- film transporting means for transporting a film pulled out of said roll supporting means to said packaging station,
- said roll supporting means including
- a roll bar for supporting said film roll,
- a fixed holder affixed to said roll bar, and
- a movable holder which is movable along said roll bar, said fixed holder and said movable holder serving to clampingly support said film roll therebetween,
- said film transporting means including
- a fixed transporting unit for transporting said film by clamping one side edge of said film,
- a movable transporting unit for transporting said film by clamping the other side edge of said film opposite from said one side edge, said movable transporting unit being movable such that the distance therefrom to said fixed transportation unit is adjustable, and
- driving means for driving said movable transporting unit according to the position of said movable holder such that the separation between said fixed holder and said movable holder corresponds to the width of said film.
