Process for dyeing hydrophobic textile material with disperse dyes from super-critical carbon dioxide

A process for dyeing hydrophobic textile material with disperse dyes, which comprises treating said textile material in supercritical carbon dioxide with an azo dye of formula

• D is the radical of an aromatic diazo component and
• K is the radical of a coupling component, or with an anthraquinone dye of formula ##STR95## wherein Z.sub.1 and Z.sub.2 are each independently of the other hydrogen or halogen,
• R.sub.19 is hydrogen or unsubstituted or substituted alkyl or phenyl,
• R.sub.20 is hydrogen, chloro, C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 alkoxy, unsubstituted or substituted phenoxy, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkoxycarbonyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 alkyltetrazolyl, phenoxysulfonyl or a radical of formula
• --O--A--O--Y
• wherein A is an alkylene radical of 2 to 6 carbon atoms and Y is unsubstituted or substituted phenyl, phenoxycarbonyl, phenylcarbonyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkylcarbonyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkoxycarbonyl,
• R.sub.21 is hydrogen, chloro, unsubstituted or substituted phenoxy or cyano,
• R.sub.22 is hydroxy, amino or a --NHR.sub.26 radical, wherein R.sub.26 is unsubstituted or substituted alkyl or phenylsulfonyl,
• X is amino or nitro,
• R.sub.23 is hydroxy, amino or unsubstituted or substituted alkylamino,
• n is 0, 1 or 2,
• R.sub.24 is hydroxy, amino or unsubstituted or substituted alkylamino or phenylamino,
• A is an alkylene radicalmof 2 bto Ccarbon aomesuad
• R.sub.25 is C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkoxy, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkoxy-C.sub.2 -C.sub.4 alkoxy, phenoxy, phenoxy-C.sub.2 -C.sub.4 alkoxy or C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkoxycarbonyl-C.sub.2 -C.sub.4 alkoxy, or with a dye of formula ##STR96## wherein R.sub.29 is hydrogen or R.sub.29 and R.sub.33, together with the N atom and the two linking carbon atoms, are a 5- or 6-membered ring,
• R.sub.30 is cyano or a radical of formula ##STR97## wherein X.sub.1 is --NH, --N--C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl, O or S, R.sub.31 is hydrogen or cyano,
• R.sub.32 is hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl,
• R.sub.33 and R.sub.34 are each independently of the other unsubstituted or substituted C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl, or R.sub.33 and R.sub.34, together with the linking nitrogen atom, are a 5- or 6-membered ring,
• R.sub.35 and R.sub.36 are each independently of the other C.sub.1 -C.sub.12 alkyl,
• R.sub.37 is hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl or C.sub.2 -C.sub.4 alkenyl,
• R.sub.38 is C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl,
• R.sub.39 is C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl or phenyl-C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl,
• R.sub.40 and R.sub.41 are each independently of the other C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl,
• Y.sub.1 is a radical of formula (15) or of formula ##STR98## m is 0 or 1, R.sub.42 is C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkoxy, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkoxy-C.sub.2 -C.sub.4 alkoxy, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkoxycarbonyl-C.sub.2 -C.sub.4 alkoxy or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkoxy-C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkoxycarbonyl-C.sub.2 -C.sub.4 alkoxy, and
• R.sub.43 is hydrogen, phenoxy or phenylthio.
