Abstract
The new o-aminoazo compounds of the formula ##STR1## in which the substituents D, A, R and R.sub.1 and the index n have the meaning given in the description are valuable intermediates for the preparation of metal complex dyestuffs and are also highly suitable for the dyeing of wool and polyamide.
Claims3
A compound of the formula ##STR14## in which Y represents --OCH.sub.2 or --OC.sub.2 H.sub.5.
- A represents hydrogen, Cl, --COOH, --SO.sub.3 H, --CH.sub.3 or --OCH.sub.3,
- R represents hydrogen, --CH.sub.3, --C.sub.2 H.sub.5, --C.sub.2 H.sub.5 OH, --CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 COOH or --CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 SO.sub.3 H, and
- R.sub.1 represents CH.sub.3, --C.sub.2 H.sub.5,n--C.sub.3 H.sub.7, benzyl, phenyl or cyclohexyl.
