4-Methyl-3-pentyl-2(5H)-furanone.
A fragrance composition which comprises a olfactorily effective amount of 4-methyl-3-pentyl-2(5H)-furanone and at least one other olfactorily active agent.
A flavor composition which comprises a flavoring effective amount of 4-methyl-3-pentyl-2(5H)-furanone and at least one other flavoring agent.
