Abstract
There are disclosed various derivatives related to physostigmine of the formula below, ##STR1## where Z, R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are as defined in the specification, which compounds are useful for enhancing cholinergic function, and as analgesic agents.
Claims4
A compound of the formula ##STR8## where Z is halogen;
- R.sub.1 is phenyl or loweralkylphenyl;
- and
- R.sub.2 is loweralkyl or cycloalkyl;
- the 3aS-cis isomer or the 3aR-cis isomer thereof or a mixture of the two isomers including the racemic mixture, or a pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salt thereof.
