Abstract
Reactive dyes of the formula ##STR1## where R.sup.1 is hydrogen, methyl or ethyl, X is hydrogen or hydroxysulfonyl, Hal is fluorine or chlorine, D is phenylene, carboxyl- or hydroxysulfonyl-monosubstituted or -disubstituted phenylene or hydroxysulfonyl-monosubstituted or -disubstituted naphthylene, A is a fiber-reactive radical, or A--D combined is a benzo-fused fiber-reactive radical, and Z is a bridge member, are useful for dyeing or printing hydroxyl- or nitrogen-containing substrates.
Claims6
A reactive dye of the formula I ##STR158## wherein R.sup.1 is hydrogen, methyl or ethyl,
- X is hydrogen or hydroxysulfonyl,
- Hal is fluorine or chlorine,
- A--D is a benzo-fused fiber-reactive group selected from the group consisting of ##STR159## Z is a bridge member of the formula ##STR160## where R.sup.2 is C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl.
A reactive dye of the formula I ##STR161##
- wherein said reactive dye has
- (a) formula Ia ##STR162## wherein X is hydrogen or hydroxysulfonyl, (b) formula Ib ##STR163##
- wherein Hal is chlorine;
- R.sup.4 is hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl;
- R.sup.5 is hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy;
- R.sup.6 is hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl or hydroxysulfonyl;
- and X is hydrogen or hydroxysulfonyl;
- (c) formula Ic or ##STR164## (d) formula Id ##STR165## wherein Hal is chlorine;
- R.sup.4 is hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl;
- R.sup.5 is hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy;
- and R.sup.6 is hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl or hydroxysulfonyl;
- and
- Z is the group ##STR166##
- wherein R.sup.2 is C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl.
