Abstract
A poly(aryl ether sulfone) blend comprising (a) from about 25 to about 99 percent by weight of a poly(biphenyl ether sulfone) and (b) from about 1 to about 75 percent by weight of a second poly(phenylene ether sulfone).

The process which comprises steam sterilizing an article formed from a composition comprising (a) poly(biphenyl ether sulfone) consisting essentially of the repeating unit:
- ##STR13## and (b) a second poly(aryl ether sulfone) consisting essentially of the repeating unit:
- ##STR14## wherein Ar is a divalent group comprising at least 50 mole percent p-biphenylene and Ar' is a divalent group comprising at least 50 mole percent ##STR15## and the weight of (a) to (b) is from about 40 to 99 to 60 to 1.
