Abstract
A method of reducing the color of a hot melt adhesive formulation comprising a polymer of a conjugated diene which comprises adding to the formulation an amount of an alkyltin compound selected from the group consisting of mercaptides, mercaptocarboxylates, and carboxylates sufficient to reduce color formation.
Claims10
A method of reducing the color of a hot melt adhesive formulation comprising a polymer of a conjugated diene which contains residual LiBr, LiCl or LiI salts which comprises adding to the formulation an amount of an alkyltin compound selected from the group consisting of dialkyltin mercaptides, dialkyltin mercaptocarbooxylates, and dialkyltin carboxylates sufficient to reduce color formation.
