Abstract
The present invention relates to a method for preparation of plasma powder characterized by catalytic treatment of plasma with colloidal silica and subsequent powdering of the plasma. The plasma powder thus obtained by the present invention is substantially free of malodorous substances.
Claims10
A method for producing plasma powder that is substantially free of malodorous substances comprising:
- catalytically treating plasma with colloidal silica selected from the group consisting of silica gel, light silicic anhydride, and combinations thereof;
- and
- powdering said treated plasma.
A plasma powder that is substantially free of malodorous substances, wherein said powder is prepared by catalytically treating plasma with colloidal silica selected from the group consisting of silica gel, light silicic anhydride, and combinations thereof and subsequently powdering said treated plasma.
