Abstract
A DC voltage tester having a plurality of resistive elements in thermal contact with a thermochromic material wherein the resistive elements are connected in a parallel configuration.
Claims20
A DC voltage tester comprising a substrate;
- an electrical circuit located on one side of the substrate and comprising at least two resistive elements and a pair of electrical contacts, wherein the resistive elements and the pair of contacts are connected in a parallel configuration and thermochromic material in thermal contact with at least two of the resistive elements.
A battery tester comprising a substrate;
- an electrical circuit located on one side of the substrate and comprising at least three resistive elements, a pair of electrical contacts so positioned as to be capable of alignment with the terminals of a battery, and electrical connection means for connecting the resistive elements and the pair of contacts in a parallel configuration;
- a voltage scale located on the other side of the substrate in a position coincident with the position of the resistive elements;
- and thermochromic material on the same side of the substrate as the voltage scale and being in thermal contact with at least three of the resistive elements.
