Abstract
An electrophotographic photoreceptor having a light-sensitive layer formed on an electrically conductive substrate is disclosed, which contains at least a layer chiefly made of a germanium-containing amorphous carbon as a light-sensitive layer or an anti-reflection layer.
Claims16
An electrophotographic photoreceptor having on an electrically conductive substrate a light-sensitive layer composed of a charge generation layer and a charge transport layer, wherein said charge generation layer is chiefly made of a germanium-containing amorphous carbon and wherein an atomic ratio of germanium to carbon contained in said charge generation layer is from 1/1 to 1/0.01.
An electrophotographic photoreceptor having on an electrically conductive substrate a light-sensitive layer composed of a charge generation layer and a charge transport layer, wherein said charge generation layer is chiefly made of a germanium-containing amorphous carbon and wherein the total content of germanium and carbon in said charge generation layer is at least 50 atomic percent.
An electrophotographic photoreceptor having a light-sensitive layer on an electrically conductive substrate, and an anti-reflection layer composed of a germanium-containing amorphous carbon between the substrate and the light-sensitive layer and wherein the atomic ratio of germanium to carbon in said anti-reflection layer is from 1/1 to 1/0.01.
