Abstract
DC-88A derivatives represented by the general formula: ##STR1## wherein X represents hydrogen or CO.sub.2 R.sup.1 (in which R.sup.1 represents hydrogen, a straight-chain or branched alkyl having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, allyl, or benzyl); and ##STR2## have an excellent anti-tumor activity and are useful as anti-tumor agents.
Claims9
A compound represented by the formula:
- ##STR38## wherein X represents hydrogen or CO.sub.2 R.sup.1 (in which R.sup.1 represents hydrogen, a straight-chain or branched alkyl having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, allyl, or benzyl);
- and ##STR39## wherein Y represents chlorine or bromine;
- R.sup.2 represents hydrogen, COR.sup.3 (in which R.sup.3 represents a straight-chain or branched alkyl having 1 to 4 carbon atoms), CONR.sup.4 R.sup.5 (in which R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 independently represent a straight-chain or branched alkyl having 1 to 4 carbon atoms), ##STR40## (in which n represents 4 or 5), ##STR41## CO.sub.2 R.sup.6 (in which R.sup.6 represents a straight-chain or branched alkyl having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, or allyl), or SiR.sup.7 R.sup.8 R.sup.9 (in which R.sup.7, R.sup.8 and R.sup.9 independently represent a straightchain or branched alkyl having 1 to 4 carbon atoms);
- or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
