Abstract
An electrode is arranged in an integrally formed, seamless, self-supporting tubular ion exchanger, and a liquid supply and discharge mechanism for circulating an electrolyte is arranged in the tubular ion exchanger to construct an electrode apparatus for the dialysis. When this apparatus is used for the dialysis of an electrodeposition coating solution, leakage of the coating solution into the electrode portion and leakage of the electrolyte into a tank are prevented.
Claims13
An electrode apparatus for the dialysis during electrodeposition paint coating, including an electrode and an ion-exchange member having a permselectivity to ions attracted in the electrode, wherein said apparatus for the dialysis comprises a self-supportable tubular ion exchanger formed integrally with no side-seam, an electrode disposed within the ion exchanger and arranged in the axial direction an electrolyte from one end of the tubular ion exchanger to the other end thereof.
