Abstract
A pump with a tubular housing having a predetermined inlet and outlet, a convoluted stationary member mounted in the tubular housing and a rod extending in a substantially spiral course received within the housing for rotation about the stationary member to move fluid from the inlet through the housing and from the outlet thereof.

A pump comprising a tubular housing having a predetermined inlet and outlet, a convoluted stationary member mounted in the tubular housing, an impeller received within the housing for rotation about the stationary member, and means for interconnecting the impeller and a drive means operable to rotate said impeller about the stationary member to move fluid from the inlet through the housing and from the outlet thereof.
