Abstract
A developer for developing electrostatic latent images comprises a toner and a fine silica powder; said fine silica powder being treated with an aminosilane coupling agent having a tertiary amino group represented by the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.5 and R.sub.6 represent the same or different substituents, provided that the total of the carbon atom number of R.sub.5 and R.sub.6 is not less than 8, and having an oxidation potential of not more than 800 mV.
Claims36
A developer for developing electrostatic latent images, comprising a toner and a fine silica powder;
- said fine silica powder being treated with an aminosilane coupling agent having a tertiary amino group represented by the formula:
- ##STR6## wherein R.sub.5 and R.sub.6 represent the same or different substituents, provided that the total of the carbon atom number of R.sub.5 and R.sub.6 is not less than 8,
- and having an oxidation potential of nOt more than 800 mV.
