Mixtures containing organosilicon compounds and their use for waterproofing and antimicrobial impregnation

A composition for the treatment of inorganic, oxidic material comprising waterproofing and antimicrobial effective amounts of:

• (a) (RO).sub.3 Si-R.sup.1 (I) in which:
• R represents C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl
• R.sup.1 represents C.sub.1 -C.sub.18 -alkyl
• (b) A cationic trialkoxy silane of the general formula ##STR2## in which:
• R.sup.2 represents C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 -alkylene or --CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 ----CH.sub.2
• R.sup.3, R.sup.4, R.sup.5, which may be the same or different from each other, represent C.sub.1 -C.sub.18 -alkyl
• X represents Cl.sup.31 , Br.sup.-, NO.sub.3 .sup.-, I.sup.-, CH.sub.3 COO.sup.-, and/or an organosilicon compound of the general formula
• (RO).sub.3 Si-R.sup.2 -S-SnR.sup.6.sub.3 (III)
• in which
• R.sup.6 represents C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl or aryl or fusion products of (a) and/or (b).
