Abstract
Hydrophobic textile materials can be dyed or printed with one or more monoazo dyes of the formula ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 is fluoro, chloro or bromo; R.sup.2 is hydrogen or chloro; and R.sup.3 is allyl, alkyl having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, alkoxyalkyl having 2 to 4 carbon atoms in the alkyl portion and 1 to 4 carbon atoms in the alkoxy portion or cyanoalkyl having 2 to 4 carbon atoms.

Monoazo dyes of the formula ##STR12## in which R.sup.1 is fluoro, chloro or bromo;
- R.sup.2 is hydrogen or chloro;
- and
- R.sup.3 is allyl, alkyl having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, alkoxyalkyl having 2 to 4 carbon atoms in the alkyl portion and 1 to 4 carbon atoms in the alkoxy portion or cyanoalkyl having 2 to 4 carbon atoms.
In the process of printing or dyeing hydrophobic materials by applying monoazo dyes to the materials, the improvement comprises applying a mixture of monoazo dyes as claimed in claim 9 to the materials.
