Abstract
A crosslinked copolymer composition is derived from an aliphatic polyester, a dianhydride and a diicoyanate. The copolymer membrane has high thermal stability and good aromatic/saturate selectivity and permeability.
Claims7
A method for separating aromatics from feeds which are mixtures of aromatics and non-aromatics which method comprises providing a thin membrane including a crosslinked copolymer composition wherein said copolymer is derived from an aliphatic polyester diol, a dianhydride, and a diisocyante crosslinking reagent, and said aliphatic polyester is a polyadipate, a polysuccinate, a polymalonate, a polyoxalate, or a polyglutarate and selectively permeating the aromatic through.
