Abstract
Diarylide pigments modified with alkylene oxide polymers. The modified pigments are useful in both water-based and solvent-based coating and ink compositions.
Claims20
An azomethine composition of matter having the general formula:
- ##STR8## wherein:
- R and R.sup.1 are independently selected from the group consisting of H, CH.sub.3, OCH.sub.3, OCH.sub.2 CH.sub.3 and Cl;
- n is an integer from 1 to 5;
- X is selected from the group consisting of Cl, CH.sub.3 and OCH.sub.3 ;
- Y is N-R.sup.2, wherein R.sup.2 is an alkylene oxide polymer containing about 4 to about 200 groups;
- and,
- Z is selected from the group consisting of O and Y.
