Abstract
An electrophotographic photoconductor is disclosed which comprises an electroconductive support and a photoconductive layer formed thereon, which photoconductive layer comprises as a charge generating material an azo pigment having general formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2, X, A and n are respectively defined in the specification.
Claims7
An electrophotographic photoconductor comprising an electroconductive support and a photoconductive layer formed thereon, said photoconductive layer comprising as a charge generating material an azo pigment having general formula (I):
- ##STR91## wherein R.sup.1 represents H, Cl, CH.sub.3, or OCH.sub.3 ;
- R.sup.2 represents H, Cl, or CH.sub.3, provided that R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 may not be hydrogen at the same time;
- A represents ##STR92## wherein R.sup.3 represents a lower alkyl group or a nitro group;
- R.sup.4 represents a lower alkyl group, a lower alkoxyl group or Cl;
- R.sup.5 represents a lower alkyl group, a lower alkoxyl group, Cl or a nitro group;
- and R.sup.6 and R.sup.7 each represent a lower alkyl group or Cl;
- and X represents ##STR93##
