Abstract
An impeller wheel for feeding a medium, for example fuel, includes a plurality of vanes spaced from each other at non-uniform intervals along the periphery of the impeller wheel. To reduce tonal noise to a minimum during the feeding of the medium the vanes are distributed in accordance with the mathematical interrelations of a pseudonoise sequence.
Claims7
An impeller wheel for conveying a medium, including a plurality of vane-shaped conveying elements positioned on a peripheral surface of the wheel and spaced from each other in a peripheral direction of the wheel at non-uniform intervals, said intervals being dimensioned in accordance with the mathematical interrelations of pseudonoise sequence.
