Abstract
The invention relates to a device for supplying power to a car-mounted apparatus by electrically connecting a connector on the car-body and a connector on the car-mounted apparatus, where either of these connectors is installed so that it can freely move and integrally vibrate with the other connector when in a mated condition.
Claims5
A power-source connection device for a car-mounted apparatus, comprising:
- a substrate secured to a car body;
- a car-side connector movably supported on said substrate;
- an apparatus-side connector installed on the bottom of said car-mounted apparatus;
- means for mating said car-side connector with said apparatus-side connector, thereby mounting said apparatus-side connector in relation to said substrate;
- means for electrically connecting said car-side connector to said apparatus-side connector;
- and
- means for supplying power to said car-mounted apparatus when said car-side connector and said apparatus-side connector are electrically connected;
- wherein said car-side connector freely moves with respect to the car body and wherein said car-side connector and said apparatus-side connector integrally vibrate together in response to vibrations of said car body.
