Abstract
An elasticized fabric unit comprising a pair of tape members spacedly provided, and a plurality of elastic strands fixed to the tape members at their opposite ends, and a garment incorporating the elasticized unit, an apparatus for making the elasticized units, a method for incorporating the elasticized units in the garment.

An apparatus for making elastic fabric units, the apparatus comprising:
- a pair of conveyors having a plurality of engagement means thereon for elastic strands;
- rotative arm means for winding the strands around the conveyor,
- means for providing tape members to opposite sides of said strands;
- means for fixing a predetermined number of said strands to said tape members;
- rolling means having sucking apertures disposed at the end of said pair of conveyors;
- and
- cutting means for cutting said elastic strands fixed to said tape members while said strands are secured by said sucking apertures.

An apparatus for making elastic fabric units, the apparatus comprising:
- conveying means for conveying elastic strands, said conveying means having a plurality of engagement means thereon for engaging said elastic strands;
- rotative arm means for winding said elastic strands around said conveying means;
- means for providing tape members to opposite sides of said strands;
- means for fixing a predetermined number of said elastic strands to tape members, said means for fixing being connected to said conveying means;
- a roller having sucking apertures disposed at the end of said conveying means;
- and
- cutting means for cutting said elastic strands fixed to said tape members while said strands are secured by said sucking apertures.
