Abstract
The present invention relates to an exposure control automatic device for a camera. A shutter controls the amount of the exposure; a detector detects the operation speed of the shutter and calculator device compares an output of the detector with a predetermined speed information to determine the exposure time.
Claims32
An exposure control appaaratus comprising:
- shutter means for controlling the amount of the exposure;
- detection means for detecting the operation speed of said shutter means;
- calculation means for comparing an output of said detection means with a predetermined speed information to previously determine the exposure time;
- and
- control means for measuring an operating time of said shutter means and for causing said shutter means to start a closing operation when said operating time reaches said previously determined exposure time;
- wherein the operation speed of the shutter means is independent of the output of the control means.

- discrimination means for discriminating the operation speed of said shutter means;
- reference value output means for providing a predetermined reference speed value;

- calculation means for determining the exposure time on the basis of the ouputs of said determination means and said reference value output means;

- control means for measuring an operating time of said shutter means and for causing said shutter means to start a closing operation when said operating time reaches said previously determined exposure time;
- wherein the operation speed of the shutter means is independent of the control means.
