Abstract
Compounds of the formula ##STR1## where R, Hal and Z have the meanings given in the disclosure. The compounds are suitable for use as fungicides.
Claims7
An azolylmethyloxirane of the formula ##STR10## where R is C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, naphthyl, biphenyl or phenyl, and the phenyl radical may be substituted by halogen, nitro or phenoxy or by alkyl, alkoxy or haloalkyl, each of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, Hal is fluorine or chlorine and .dbd.Z-- is .dbd.CH-- or .dbd.N--, and its plant-tolerated addition salts with acids and metal salts.
A fungicidal composition comprising a fungicidally effective amount of an azolylmethyloxirane of the formula ##STR11## where R is C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, naphthyl, biphenyl or phenyl, and the phenyl radical may be substituted by halogen, nitro or phenoxy or by alkyl, alkoxy or haloalkyl, each of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, Hal is fluorine or chlorine and .dbd.Z-- is .dbd.CH-- or .dbd.N--, or a plant-tolerated acid addition or metal salt thereof, and an inert additive.
A process for combatting fungi, wherein a fungicidally effective amount of an azolylmethyloxirane of the formula ##STR12## where R is C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, naphthyl, biphenyl or phenyl, and the phenyl radical may be substituted by halogen, nitro or phenoxy or by alkyl, alkoxy or haloalkyl, each of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, Hal is fluorine or chlorine and .dbd.Z-- is .dbd.CH-- or .dbd.N--, or a plant-tolerated acid addition or metal salt thereof, is allowed to act on the fungi or on materials, areas, plants or seed threatened by fungus attack.
