Abstract
The present invention relates to ophthalmological pharmaceutical compositions comprising a renin inhibitor and to methods for using said composition in the treatment of glaucoma.

A method of reducing elevated intraocular pressure in a mammal which comprises topically administering a composition comprising an intraocular pressure reducing amount of a renin inhibitor to an eye of said mammal.
A topical ophthalmologically acceptable solution useful for reducing and controlling elevated intraocular pressure which comprises an intraocular pressure reducing amount of a renin inhibitor in combination with an ophthalmologically acceptable antibacterial component and an isotonic agent for topical use.
