Abstract
Compounds of formula ##STR1## (wherein R, R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 have the meanings reported in the specification) and their preparation are described. The compounds of formula I have anti-allergic, anti-anaphylactic and anti-arthritic activity and are useful in pharmaceutical field. Compositions for pharmaceutical use containing a compound of formula I as active ingredient are described too.
Claims8
A compound of formula ##STR10## wherein R and R.sub.1 represent hydroxy, a hydrogen or a halogen atom, a C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl or alkoxy;
- R.sub.2 represents hydroxy, an OR.sub.3 or a ##STR11## R.sub.3 represents a C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl, a benzyl, a group of formula --(CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --O).sub.n --R.sub.6 wherein n represents an integer from 1 to 4 and R.sub.6 represents a hydrogen atom or a C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl;
- R.sub.4 and R.sub.5, which are the same or different, represent a hydrogen atom, a C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl, a benzyl, a phenyl, or R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 together with the nitrogen atom to which they are bonded, form a 1-piperidinyl, 1-piperazinyl, 4-methyl-1-piperazinyl radical;
- and salts thereof with pharmaceutically acceptable acids or bases.
