Abstract
Binder-free granules for oral and parenteral administration with delayed release of the active compound, consisting of a pharmaceutical active compound or granules thereof and a coating of 1 to 20% by weight of poly-D(-)-3-hydroxybutyric acid, based on the total weight, and a process for their preparation.

Binder-free granules for oral and parenteral administration with delayed release of the active compound consisting of a pharmaceutical active compound or granules thereof and poly-D(-)-3-hydroxybutyric acid having a molecular weight of about 50,000 to about 800,000, wherein the active compound or granules thereof is/are coated with an amount of 1 to 20% by weight of said poly-D(-)-3-hydroxybutyric acid, based on the total weight.
