Abstract
This invention relates to certain herbicidally active substituted diphenyl ether oxime derivatives, herbidical compositions of the same and the use thereof for preemergence and postermergence control of noxious plants, i.e., weeds.
Claims4
A compound represented by the formula:
- ##STR4## wherein:
- X and Y are hydrogen or halogen provided that at least one of X or Y is halogen;
- R is hydrogen or --CH.sub.2 R.sup.3 wherein R.sup.3 is hydrogen, halogen, C.sub.1 to C.sub.3 alkyl or haloalkyl, C.sub.1 to C.sub.3 alkoxy or alkylthio, mono or dialkylamino, or cyano;
- R.sup.1 is hydrogen or C.sub.1 to C.sub.3 alkyl;
- and
- R.sup.2 is hydrogen, alkali metal, C.sub.1 to C.sub.3 alkyl phenyl up to C.sub.3 alkenyl or alkynyl, ammonium or substituted ammonium.
