Abstract
Polymer blends of improved properties are produced with a continuous or partially continuous phase of a linear alternating polymer of carbon monoxide and at least one ethylenically unsaturated hydrocarbon, and a dispersed or partially continuous phase of a polymer of an alkenyl nitrile, a vinyl aromatic monomer, and an alkadiene.
Claims10
A composition comprising:
- a linear alternating polymer of carbon monoxide and at least one ethylenically unsaturated hydrocarbon;
- and
- a second polymer of a vinyl aromatic monomer, an .alpha.,.beta.-ethylenically unsaturated alkenyl nitrile, and a conjugated alkadiene, the alkadiene being present in an amount less than about 35% by weight of the second polymer which is present in an amount between about 0.5% and about 50% by weight of the composition.
