Abstract
Azeotrope-like compositions comprising 1,1,2-trichloro-1,2,2-trifluoroethane, methanol, nitromethane and 1-chloropropane are stable and have utility as degreasing agents and as solvents in a variety of industrial cleaning applications including the defluxing of printed circuit boards.
Claims11
Azeotrope-like compositions consisting essentially of about 70.7 to about 74.0 weight percent 1,1,2-trichloro-1,2,2-trifluoroethane, from about 5.9 to about 6.3 weight percent methanol, from about 0.03 to about 0.2 weight percent nitromethane, and from about 18.6 to about 23.0 weight percent 1-chloropropane.
